Today's Notable Quote: "He's not anti-Semitic. He was role-playing." - Howard Rubenstein, crisis management expert on Michael Richards latest faux pas.
Anti-semitism is an albatross around Mel Gibson's neck--and racial epithets provide Michael Richards with a significant amount of "free publicity" and PR--really--when was the last time you even thought about Richard's "Kramer" character? He throws out a couple of crass anti-African-American comments during a stand-up routine, then trots out Jesse Jackson and other "spokespeople" to affirm that he's not really a bigot (maybe he's like Dr. Pepper--you know--misunderstood), and everything's hunky-dory...that is, until a story hits the light of day about some of his comic carping on certain citizens of Middle Eastern origin. What's next?..."Scientological Sofa-hopping" with Tom?"
Sit down and shut up...Kramer.
