To his point--far too many organizations irrationally vest themselves in a culture of diminishing returns. Evidently failing to see "the Big Picture"...many "leaders" play the apparently safer short-term game of "sacred-cowism", rather than retaning only the essential elements while in the pursuit of "purple-cowism".
